Alloy Steel F5 Flanges are made up of chromium molybdenum steel alloy and therefore have a high rupture resistance. They are also preferred due to their light weight because of the low carbon and high alloy nature. It is very much resistant to sulfide corrosion cracking, and can also withstand hydrogen attacks. F5 threaded flange is known to be extremely ductile, durable and tough. Apart from these characteristics, these flanges are easy to weld.
