Technical Overview

Titanium Gr 5, an alpha-beta alloy composed primarily of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium, is valued for its high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent heat resistance, and remarkable structural integrity. It also contains trace elements like iron, oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen that enhance its mechanical stability and corrosion resistance. The presence of vanadium improves hardenability, while aluminum contributes to strength without compromising ductility. These bars and rods can endure temperatures up to 400°C and offer outstanding weldability and machinability. Conforming to international standards such as ASTM B348 and ASME SB348, and compatible with dimensional norms including DIN, EN, JIS, AISI, and BS, Gr 5 Titanium Round Bars & Rods are available in tolerance ranges from H8–H13 to K9–K12. Each batch is supplied with a variety of finish options including NO.4, matte, black, bright polished, and BA to suit specific industrial needs.
