Beryllium Copper Round Bars, also known as CuBe or BeCu, are a high-performance class of copper alloys that combine the mechanical strength of steel with the conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper. These bars are primarily composed of copper with a small percentage of beryllium, usually between 0.5% to 2.0%, depending on the desired properties and alloy grade. Beryllium imparts notable improvements in the alloy’s hardness, heat transfer efficiency, resistance to fatigue, and ability to withstand wear over time.
