Grades 347 and 347H are austenitic stainless steels that incorporate niobium as a stabilizing element, specifically engineered to resist intergranular corrosion in high-temperature environments. These alloys are engineered with a precise chemical blend that typically includes chromium, nickel, carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, cobalt, and titanium. With its elevated carbon content, grade 347H is specifically tailored for applications involving prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
