Technical Overview

Stainless Steel 316 is an austenitic alloy primarily composed of chromium and nickel, enhanced with molybdenum to deliver excellent corrosion resistance, especially in chloride and acidic environments. Where Stainless Steel 316L, a low-carbon variant, offers superior weldability and is ideal for applications that require repeated exposure to high temperatures without the risk of carbide precipitation. And Stainless Steel 316Ti and SS 347H Pipes & Tubes includes added titanium, making it a stabilized grade that resists sensitization during prolonged exposure to high temperatures.

Each alloy variant is engineered to exhibit superior mechanical strength, excellent formability, high tensile strength, and long-term resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and elevated temperature environments.
