KVN Steel Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. is a prominent producer, global exporter, and trusted stockist of Carbon Steel Seamless and ERW Pipes & Tubes. These products are available in a wide variety of lengths, thicknesses, and dimensions as per client demands.
Seamless carbon steel pipes are crafted by piercing solid round billets using thermal and mechanical pressure until a hollow tube is formed. Tube manufacturing also involves heating large steel billets to a high temperature and shaping them into shells, which are then rolled to create the final tube. ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipes are manufactured by rolling metal and welding it longitudinally, forming a visible weld seam. In contrast, seamless pipes are continuous with no weld throughout their length.
Leading range includes: Carbon Steel Seamless Pipes, A53 Grade B ERW Pipes, ASTM A106 Grade B Seamless Tubes, Low-Temperature ASTM A333 Gr.6 Pipes, and ASTM A672 C60/C65/C70 EFW Tubes – all made in India.
For larger diameter tubes, Plug Mill technology is employed, whereas CPE (Cross Piercing Elongation) is used for tubes up to 7 inches. These production methods are widely accepted worldwide. Seamless and welded (ERW) are the primary pipe types, with ERW often referred to as welded pipes. A53 is a standard specification for ERW pipes, while A106B is commonly used for seamless variants, eliminating the need for welding.
Also available: ASTM A671 Welded Carbon Steel Tubes, ASTM A53/SA53 Pipes, SA106 Grade B Seamless Pipes, ASTM A333 LTCS Pipes, and Stainless Steel Pipes and Tubes are available for bulk supply and export.
Seamless and ERW tubing often undergo a drawing process, where tubes are pulled through dies to meet dimensional and strength requirements. These pipes consist primarily of carbon and iron, with varying carbon content determining grades. Carbon steel is known for its thermal stability and melting point, making these tubes ideal for applications in oil and gas pipelines, railways, steam lines, sewage systems, and chemical plants.
To ensure top-notch quality, every batch undergoes hardness testing, chemical analysis, and other quality checks before dispatch. Packaging is done with care using wooden crates, steel or wooden boxes, hexagonal bundles, or specialized containers for U-bend tubes – all tailored to client specifications.
